I listen to a lot of music. Sometimes when I am at home, or at work, or in the car by myself. Sometimes I’ll sing along, or just poorly lip-sync because I hate my singing voice sometimes.

Every year, Spotify releases a summary of your musical interests called Spotify Wrapped. (Get it? Because the year is almost wrapped up! Either that, or it’s specifically Christmas themed.) Like top five favorite artists, top five songs, podcasts, genres. You get the picture.

To add a little fun to my life and to my blog, I am going to try and guess my top fives. Obviously, I probably won’t be able to guess the order, but it could be cool to see how close I can get. And who knows, Spotify Wrapped could come out at any point over the next week. I am writing this post on Monday, November 25th.

So, in the terms of my top five artists, I think that (in no particular order) it’ll be these five artists/bands:

  1. Set it Off
  2. Meghann Trainor
  3. Sabrina Carpenter
  4. Scene Queen
  5. Jhariah

I listen to so much Set it Off, there is no way that it isn’t at least top three. I’d venture to say the same thing about Meghann Trainor, because I just think she makes bops. The others are a toss-up, because they can be changed with other bands/singers. Like I also listen to a lot of Demi Lovato, One Direction, DAMAG3, Jason Derulo, and Little Mix. I am sticking with this list, because they have songs I like easily repeating. And honestly, there’s no telling how the Hazbin Hotel soundtrack has fucked up my Wrapped list.

Now, my top songs are probably a different story. Because I am a person who has the potential to listen to songs till I kind of hate them. Knowing how much I repeat certain songs, these five songs have a strong probability of being on my Wrapped Top Five. (Once again, no particular order.)

  1. A Lesson in Dramatics – Save Face, Jhariah
  2. AMERICAN HORROR SHOW – Snow Wife
  3. Looking At Me – Sabrina Carpenter
  4. Bite Me – ENHYPEN
  5. Loser, Baby – Keith David, Blake Roman, Sam Haft, Andrew Underberg

See what I mean? Only two of my possibly Top Five Artists is in here. But these songs are such ear worms. I also could see Killer by The Ready Set, Creating Monsters by Set It Off, and The Feels by Twice in this list.

Predicting genres may be a bit harder for me, as I don’t have a grasp on what kind of genres I listen to more or what they’re called/classified as. But since I am already writing this post, I can give it whirl!

  1. Pop
  2. K-Pop
  3. Punk Rock
  4. Musicals
  5. Indie Rock

I did my best? I am not going to be too surprised if I am wrong about some of these genre names.

As far as podcasts, I only really listen to two I think. Though if I needed to guess which three may fill the other spots, I have a pretty good idea.

  1. 8 Hour Sleep Music
  2. The Voice Of Dog
  3. Homies of Horror
  4. Girl, That’s Scary
  5. The Dead Meat Podcast

That’s right! A sleep podcast and a furry fiction podcast! And three horror movie podcasts! I am a furry that loves scary movies and has trouble sleeping! Sue me! I also don’t listen to a lot of podcasts, so if there are five, it’ll probably be these five.

Anyway! That’s what I think is going to happen with my Spotify Wrapped? Who do you think is on yours? Do you think we’ll have anything in common? Is there anyone I should be listening to more? Let me know!
