The arrival of 2026 brings about the Ursa Majors Award season! It’s a chance to gather together and celebrate phenomenal furry/anthropomorphic works, whether they be books, movies, tv, music, or things like that.
Normally around this time, you’ll see people sharing lists of their elligible works, or nominating works they enjoy. But I am not writing this post to self-promote. Not yet at least.
See, the furry fandom is full of so many wonderful creators who work very hard to make good art/stories/so many other creative things. And these awards should be used to support and celebrate real creativity.
If there was a furry book you loved this year, nominate it! If there was a furry animation you enjoyed, nominate it! If there was a story you heard on a furry podcast that you love, nominate the hell out of it!
