What do you do with abandoned ideas?

A 2:00 AM question is still just as valid.

I am going through my computer as I write this and am trying to figure out what I am writing up for today’s post. Every three days as a schedule has kinda been a hit or a miss for me. So bear with me as this is a shorter post.

And I am just looking at all of these old stories. Some are short and finished, but poor quality. But like, I know what I can do with those. Those can be rewritten! (I DOTH DUB CHEE THE MONARCH OF REVISIONING!)

But like, there are so many stories just in my document folders that I haven’t even touched, much less thought about, in years. And it’s sad. Because, sure younger me was too ambitious or on something when they came up with these ideas, but they were still mine.

And they’re just there. Untouched. Not really much going on for them right now, and I can’t post them because daaaamn I did not write great in some of these stories.

Any feedback you have on this is welcome. I just feel weird letting it sit.
