I am moving out of my parents’ house.

Hello everyone! Happy Pride! I am sitting down and taking just a little bit of time out of my day to write you all a bit of an update on my life. Unfortunately, with everything that has been going on, I haven’t been able to write blog posts which sucks. Because I haven’t been able to rep certain queer authors as of late! But! Never fear, I will do a little bit of that in my blog post tonight!

Let’s start with something recent. In the Furry Writer’s Guild Election, I went up against fellow furry author Chase for the position of Market Manager. Chase J, a fellow he/they, is the new Market Manager! And I am so happy! Chase is someone who I feel cares about the writing side of the furry fandom just as much as I do — if not more. And I couldn’t think of a better person to take over. I am really excited to see what they have in store for the Markets and The Guild.

What does this mean for me? I’ll still be around. I’ll make sure to represent and share the love for any new anthology calls that come out. But my focus going forward will be on editing. Furry Frat Boys of horror (My RHO IOTA PHI) anthology and some more personal publishing projects will be taking precedence, along with my job as editor for Fenris Publishing and possibly other editing work that may come up.

In other publishing news, I did want to call attention to a new furry publisher that has just opened its doors! Doppelfoxx Press (as of yesterday at the time of writing this) has officially opened for business! It’s helmed by Gabe Foxx and a bunch of other really cool foxes, including a local friend of mine. (Hi Renard!) Their first round of titles they’ve release has some really solid picks from some really solid authors. (I am counting twelve books in this run.) Check it out and make sure to support furry authors and presses like this directly. The link for this site is doppelfoxxpublishing.com!

Aside from all that, I am also reposting links to books that are coming out that I am excited about on my bluesky. Please follow me there so you can join me in supporting these wonderful writers and their works as I repost them.

And also! Since I mentioned following me, I have started posting short stories from Voice Of Dog episodes, I have had my writing featured in, on Furaffinity and Wattpad (Links!) It’s a newer endeavor for me, as most of the work is more on the NSFW side, which I am new to sharing sort of. So, if you’re interested, please check out those links! I am curious to find out if it works. I have been trying to figure out what to do with stories that I don’t have obvious homes for (like anthologies) so this seems like a good trial run.

I finished my Pharmacy Technician training with that big grocery store chain I work with. The green one. I have the certificate sitting right next to me as I type this out. I have the option to go for a technician license. I am not sure when I will apply for it, because I need to keep a tight leash on my money as of late for… reasons.

Speaking of reasons… I kind of skipped out on something very important. I mentioned it earlier and then didn’t mention it again. So, I am moving out of my parents’ house.

Me and my friends found an apartment over in a different town on the coast. It’s about forty minutes from the town I currently live in. And we move in less than a week. Our official move in date is June 22nd. I am nervous and excited for the new prospect. Packing is underway, and I am trying to figure out transfering/work for the new area.

That’s all for now! I hope everyone is being safe this pride season! Hopefully I will be back to writing regular blog content soon! If you have any suggestions for what to do with new stories, please let me know!
