The Undead Cometh (FINALLY! :D)

The hordes of the furry undead are coming. No — They’re already here.

A book with ten tales of undead creatures of the furry kind, written by some pretty fantastic furry authors, is now available for you to sink your claws and teeth into! Each one puts a delectable and squishy spin on the zombie fiction genre.

That’s right you beautiful readers=. The Howling Dead (edited by yours truly) has been released from the testing labs in which it was born!

I had a lot of fun with working for this anthology. Whether it was being able to read through each story in this anthology, coordinating with the writers, or just writing my own story for this project; I had a blast.

Speaking of having a blast, my offering to this collection of undead tales is a little story called “Tip Your Damn Delivery Drivers.” My story features a tired rabbit working as a delivery driver in a post-pandemic world (with zombies, of course) who has to drive an order to a group of guys who — surprise, surprise — have a history of not tipping him.

The other nine authors in this book — Aldous Husky & A. Kita, Adam Woods, Bruno Schafer, Faolan, Keaton Jenkinson, Packwolf Lupestripe, Renard Avec-Histoire, Rob Macwolf, and Sky McKinnon — each had such good and different takes on zombies and how they’d work in a furry universe.

Obviously, the blurb on the back of the book — which you’ll all see soon — has a good sneak peek of what you’ll see. But I wanted to write it again. Aside for the normal zombie tropes and gore, this anthology also includes the working class, outer space, a distaste for capitalism, a zoo of undead animals, trick-or-treating, LGBTQ+ folks, survivor’s guilt, and — only if you stay in line — a pizza party on us!
